Our Name
First Century Christian Faith draws from the fire and conviction of the earliest disciples, calling us to the same trust in Jesus the Messiah today. While scholars study Christian origins with the tools of history, we confess that Christ is alive and at work among us now. This faith is both ancient and urgent: a summons to follow Jesus with the same boldness as his first followers, holding fast to his Word of God without going "beyond what is written" (1 Cor. 4:6), and living the gospel with power, courage, and love.
Our Brand
Our brand expresses the foundation of our teaching and theology. "First Century" comes first because God chose that moment in history to send Jesus in the flesh. The New Testament is not only our witness to the historical Jesus but also our guide for how his church is to live and serve today. "Christian Faith" declares our unwavering devotion: a call to active discipleship, to obey his commandments without compromise, and to walk with the courage and fire of those first followers of Christ.
Our Logo
Our logo is more than design; it is a confession of faith. The glacier blue sky stretches across the roundel like a dome of heaven, reminding us that all creation rests beneath God's light. At its center lies the open Bible in dusk blue, testifying that God has spoken and still speaks through his Word. Beside it grows the evergreen leaf, a sign of life that does not fade, pointing us to the hope of resurrection and the promise of eternity. The evergreen cross holds the emblem together, declaring that Christ is both the center and the power of our faith. Around it stand the initials FCCF, a witness that our life and teaching are bound to the first-century gospel and to the ancient, enduring orthodoxy of the church.
We chose blue with care. In Scripture, God ties blue to his holiness, weaving it into the tabernacle and priestly garments as a reminder of heaven's majesty (see "Blue: God's Favorite Color"). Blue also carries the memory of Israel and the Law of Moses, through whom God prepared the way for Christ. Even creation teaches us: blue calms the soul more than any other color, drawing our hearts toward stillness in God's presence. Dusk blue, in particular, carries the quiet glow between sunset and nightfall, reminding us that Christ shines as the true light in a darkened world (John 3:19–21). Evergreen points to life—life rooted in creation and life that endures beyond the grave. It calls us to see that in Christ we receive not only the beauty of this world but also the promise of eternal life with God.
The circle expresses our unity with Jesus and the unbroken continuity of historical Christianity. The leaves trace the faith's birth in the first century and its growth across the world. The initials FCCF remind us how the gospel spread from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, blessings that continue to bear fruit in our lives today. The blending of blue and evergreen reflects the distinct yet harmonious identities of Jew and Gentile within the kingdom of heaven. By embracing this emblem, we affirm our commitment to honor the original meaning of Jesus' teachings and to live them fully in the present.
